Orkney is a remote cluster of seventy islands, scattered in stormy waters off the extreme north coast of Scotland where the North Sea meets Atlantic Ocean. The Highland Park Distillery lies almost in the Arctic Circle, on roughly the same latitude as Anchorage Alaska. The clime is surprisingly temperate, perfect for a long, cool and evenly paced maturation. For each release, the Malt Master selects up to 150 fully matured casks, the characters of each combine and harmonise, achieving perfect balance, fully rounded flavour and long, satisfying finish.
