	Michael Twelftree and Richard Mintz established Two Hands with the aim of making the best possible Shiraz wines from fruit grown to good vineyards. Their intention was and still is to show the diversity of Australian Shiraz by highlighting regional characteristics and allowing the fruit to be the primary feature of the final wine. By working closely with growers and focusing on small batch handling, Two Hands are able to identify sites in the Barossa and McLaren Vale which can be assembled into an exceptional wine with decisive varietal definition Barossa McLaren Vale Available by the case dozen only
	Each $14.99 Dozen $179.88	From the very beginning, Two Hands have been very well received by a healthy stream of accolades. Notable reviewer Robert M. Parker anointed Two Hands as the finest negociant operation south of the equator. Individual parcels of fruit from the Barossa and McLaren Vale are fermented separately over fourteen days and pumped over regularly each day. The pressings were combined with the free run and settled for several days before going to oak. The parcels underwent malolactic in barrel, racked an average of four times. Matured in French and American oak barrels for fourteen months. All batches are kept separate until assembly just prior to bottling after a minimal fining and no filtration. Alcohol 15.1%
	Very deep crimson. Aromas of cedar and vanilla, toasted oak over dark chocolate, plum and spice. This is an intense wine that throws huge mouthfuls of rich, ripe fruits. A mouthfilling palate with flavours of spice, black pepper and cedar overlaid with vanilla and liquorice. Fine grained tannins are perfectly balanced, followed by an exceptionally long aftertaste of spice, liquorice and mocha. Savour the Lucky Country alongside lamb cutlets and eggplant on tabbouli. Aerope was selected from a few exceptional barrels of Grenache that came from an eighty year old dry grown vineyard on Radford Road at Greenock.
